05.01.2022 MGA is an all inclusive group who will help you every step of your mini goat journey. We have practical, common sense rules, easy to comprehend to protect you and your animals. Transferring your animals to MGA from other groups is completely FREE, stud registration is FREE and there is no joining fee; only an annual membership fee. Australian Miniature, Pygmy and Nigerian Goats welcome. We are a non profit hobby group and not a business; instead a small, personal group.... MGA shows are open to any registered mini goat from any group and you don’t need to join MGA to show with us. Competition with breeders from outside your group means you get to see other animals and talk to other breeders which makes the day so much more engaging. MGA shows have always been and will continue to be, tested shows. Prior to 2014 no mini group tested for CAE or Johnes; MGA are very happy some other groups have taken our lead to also test. The Premium Breed database allows for breeders to enter their own registrations and transfers, add heights etc, these entries are then sent to our registrars for final approval. We pride ourselves on the speed at which your paperwork is completed. Animals can transfer in from other groups with their full pedigree history. We can build the history for you in our database.
