25.01.2022 David came out and serviced my car today. He arrived on time, and he was very easy to deal with. He was honest about what needed fixing, and what didn’t. I didn’t feel like I was being ripped off, or taken for a ride. Very happy with the service and would definately recommend this company! I will be booking them again for my next service. Thanks again David! melissag991 https://www.wordofmouth.com.au//australian-mobile-mechanics

23.01.2022 Smith Racing finishing on a high, night two of the Masters... Both cars were good after night one of the Sport Sedan Masters, so had most of the morning to do s...ome fine tuning, but also having to find a water pump and fix the tow rig to get it all home. Dale started off his day with a win starting from 4th. Russell started his heat from the back row and finished 6th. Last heat of the weekend had Dale up first again, finishing 2nd from 5th. Russell started from 2nd, having really good pace, just trying to find different lines coming home in 4th. Points from all the heats over the weekend were added and would have Russell starting from P15 out of 24 cars and Dale able to get into the top 8 pole shuffle starting from 2nd. Dale had a good crack but just wasn’t smooth enough and fell back a spot in the pole shuffle. This meant he would start from P3 in the Sport Sedan Masters feature. With a fast track and big field, the race was very busy and no room for mistakes. Dale was able to run up the front for the entire feature having some great battles for the top three, trying to find a edge on the others but just couldn’t find it. Russell had an action packed race working his way through the field, not afraid to push hard clipping the wall at one point almost ending his night, even loosing a boot lid. Dale crossed the line in a very happy 3rd and Russell got into the top 10 finishing 10th. Awesome weekend of racing for Smith Racing. Thanks to Redline Raceway and their crew for such a great event that we love to attend every year. Thank you to the sponsors as always, without them, we would struggle to do what we love. 09.01.2022 Fantastic weekend capped with a great action shot!

04.01.2022 Smith Racing bring both cars to the finish.... Day 2 of the 100 Lapper had both boys doing repairs with both cars damaging front right wheel bearings on the thi...rd heat of Day 1. With only enough spares for one car, we had many people offer their spares to fix both cars but in the end very thankful to Dan for bringing some parts back up from the work shop back in Croydon. Both cars all fixed and set to go, Dale was 13 in the points going into Day 2 but Russell needing to work a little harder with points having him at 37th. Dale ran his heat starting from 8th and able to move thru the field nice and clean to take 3rd. Russell also started from the rear of his final heat. He drove a hard race and brought it home in 6th. Points added up had Dale still in 13th for the main event but Russell not able to start straight out of the feature. Plan B had him run the B main final with a chance to transfer into the main game. He started out of 6th and with a couple goes at making a start, finally the field got a clean start and Russell quickly moved up into 2nd place. He was able to drive a strong race crossing the line in 2nd and transferring to the 100 Lapper out of 38th. The boys started off their run with a plan of staying clean and then picking their opportunities. This seemed to work well with both boys moving up the grid with minimal dramas and both cars handling well. As the race went on, the track began to change and get a lot of rubber down making it tricky to find traction but a lot of sideways fun. First sign of problems had Russell get a right rear tyre go down with around 20 laps to go. He was able to pit and get a repair done to re join and push on.. then Dale also lost a right rear tyre from running out of rubber but being able to pit under a caution lap and a very quick tyre change from the crew had him re join the field, only losing one lap. With only around 15 laps remaining, and now a little more grip with some new rubber, the boys pushed on as hard as they could to make up lost time. Both the boys were able to push on to the end crossing the line with Dale 8th and Russell 15th out of a strong 82 car field. Another great 100 Lapper weekend for us and smiles all round for the team. We are happy just to finish this crazy event let alone some where up the front of it. Massive thanks to Ryan for giving up his time to come up Thursday morning to help set up everything. Also his helping hand through out the weekend working on cars, to helping up the top. Thank you to Tom for a massive hand in the pits all weekend, helping with both cars and some helpful tips with car setup. Also hanging out down in the pits just in case we need to come in (lucky) for the final. Also thanks to anyone else that helped during the pit stops or any time over the weekend, it is much appreciated. Alexandra has put on another great 100 Lapper and the boys felt the track held up very well for the amount of punishment it cops from this event. Thanks to all involved with the event. As always, thanks to our ongoing sponsors and the new ones for the support we have received, it makes a massive difference.
