18.01.2022 Every now and then we come across an article written by a missionary that is a ‘must-read’. Please take the time to read this one! Helane Ramsay serves in church planting in Japan with her husband Adam. They come from Salt Church, Queensland, and serve with CMS and APWM. But don’t just read this article once, read it again and pray through it you won’t regret it! We’re begging you to join us. If you’re ordained and capable of leading a church plant, we want you to come and do that here. If you’re a mature Christian, capable of reading the Bible with others and lovingly guiding people to Jesus, come and do that here. If you’re a teacher who could educate missionary kids, come and do that here. https://www.cms.org.au/2020/11/a-church-for-every-kombini/

15.01.2022 At the start of the 20th century, the majority of Christians lived in Europe and North America. Today, it’s a different story in Europe as many have forgotten the gospel. The European Christian Mission (ECM) is an APWM Partner Agency which seeks to help European churches reach out with the life-giving gospel. Presbyterian Matthew George serves as ECM Australia’s National Director. One of the realities of mission agency life is that those such as Matt and his wife Louise, who... serve at home coordinating the ministry overseas, are often financially under-supported. If you, or your church, are looking for missionaries to support then please consider Matt & Louise. Matt features in this video. https://www.ecmaustralia.org https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9SdkSSYZYo&feature=youtu.be

04.01.2022 Rick Manton has served for many years as the Chairman of Bimbadeen, the Aboriginal Training College located in Cootamundra NSW. The College is now in search of a new home and perhaps you can help. Rick and Kayleen write: Now we’re all packed up with nowhere to go! We are still looking for a place to store books, and other things from the college, until we find a permanent home. Somewhere around Mount Druitt or Rooty Hill, with a small office space, would be great. Most impo...rtantly we are still looking for a facility that the college can use for its training programmes. Please get in touch with us if you know of a place anywhere around Sydney that might suit our needs, even as far north as the other side of Newcastle. Pray that God will lead us to a space to teach new preachers, and in the meantime a place to store all the resources. You can read more of the history of Bimbadeen in the Cootamundra Herald https://www.cootamundraherald.com.au//college-to-make-way/
