24.01.2022 Meet Hugo.!This unit of a Lace Monitor was found sleeping around a mans rubbish bins in Helensvale.! When we picked him up he was significantly quieter than we expected so it was off to the awesome team at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital to give him the once over before release. Once all cleared we picked him up and it was off to a nice big bushy spot were there were no more bins to hang around.! Haha

12.01.2022 Wild Encounters supports the Australian Reptile Centre through all of the Work they do..! Without Wild Encounters we wouldn’t be able to operate the way we do and we wouldn’t be able to volunteer our time and resources to helping sick and injured Reptile and Wildlife.
12.01.2022 This is a Project that we have been doing. This is where we will keep you updated on all the progress we make in helping these starving bats.!
08.01.2022 Another busy day today..! With the rain setting in, we will get to see a few different types of snakes out and about we don’t normally get to see..! Check it out.!!
08.01.2022 *Meet The Joker* This gorgeous Red Bellied Black Snake had a run in with a whipper snipper. He was lucky and only suffered a couple of small cuts however one was right near his mouth. After some minor surgery to stitch him all up his smile was as good as new! He will stay with us for a couple weeks for a full course of antibiotics and some pain relief until he is fully recovered and then he will be back to the bush
