Online class registration starts November 18th Western Australian Guild member Kira Mead, well-known for developing Quilling in a distinctive, ingenious, imaginative, & beautiful form of textile art, will be teaching a hands on w...orkshop via video, with the in-classroom assistance of Susan L. Feller. October is wildflower season in Western Australia, Wink Lindsay shared images of wildflowers in her area. South Australia, a 4metre long rug hooked by Jenny Anderson, her 2nd long rug. Also, from SA, and the 5 Directions Exhibition in the Stationmasters Gallery, Strathalbyn two rugs from the same design, drawn by Judith Stephens, hooked ...by herself and Marion Nefiodovas; two different colour ways but both lovely. From Tokyo Japan, Fumiyo Hachisuka advised she's had to postpone her 30th rug hooking exhibition to 2021, October 21 to 26. Maggie Hickey from Braidwood, NSW has completed her Bushfire rug and from Cobargo-Bermagui, NSW, Dawn Hollins wrote Dear family and friends, I'm forwarding this 8 minute documentary made in Cobargo over the last weekend in September. I know and respect all the folk featured in the movie. When you get to the bits featuring an old woman in desperate need of a haircut just smile!
