21.01.2022 Love how this shows perfectly an adult male and female with the steel grey legs!! The big one is the male and the small on is the female AND the juveniles are the same size as mum or dad but they will be brown in colour with beige coloured legs!!!

17.01.2022 So little Floss was released today by awesome new member Callie!!! So funny the cheeky little girl flew straight back up to her pole after a soak in the water!!! Yay Flossy!!!! Great job Shannon, Wendy & Callie!!!

16.01.2022 Turtle Update - this weeks turtle model is Taz Bluey - Bluey's flipper is healing nicely, he will get another x-ray in 4 weeks time. Hook hasn't moved and seems to be fairly wedged. Taz - Taz is doing really well, never stops eating and eats just about anything. Pneumonia has cleared up and can now come of meds. Once the carapace wounds have healed, Taz can be released. ... Lulu - Lulu sinker is moving in the right direction and fingers crossed it will pass this week. Lulu will come off meds next week. Once the sinker has passed, we will spend a few more weeks fattening her up for release. Donnie - as you know Donnie is ready to go and will be released next weekend, prior to the workshop - Whoo Hoo!!

14.01.2022 Alicia the pelican had some help cleaning the aviary and fluids and meds!! Thank you new vollie Wendy and her daughter Lilli for coming and helping and cleaning the tank as well!! It was an extremely hot day and I thank you for your help!!! She is feeling so much better that she is getting in and out of the tank herself!!!

08.01.2022 OMG HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THESE GIRLS!!! These words are from Lily herself I first heard about the Australian Seabird Rescue Central Coast at the Green Agent meeting at my school (Manly Village Public School) (ASRCC vollie Silke did a talk there there other day) I didn’t know much about you then. Then my mum showed me a video that was posted on the Bold and Beautiful blog about the turtles you rescued and released. I knew that turtles are endangered and wanted to help. S...o I thought about doing a bake sale with my friends to raise more money. I baked all day on Saturday, then I got up at 6 am and headed down to Manly Beach at 6:15 so we could be there by 6:30 when the Bold and Beautiful starts. My friends, Grace, Obe and Cleo and I ran the bake sale 3 hours and we raised $320 dollars. I appreciate you saving turtles in Cabbage tree bay and please save more turtles! 07.01.2022 So calls were going left right and centre to ASRCC, Wildlife Arc and Wires for this poor pelican that was in Booth's Motor Group and couldn't fly and Stephanie had kept him in the dealership till someone could arrive - she even stayed late after close and waited till our vollies Brielle & Colleen went at caught this beautiful baby male now names Fordie! He's with Nicola at the moment whilst we decide a treatment plan! Good Luck Fordie!!!
