06.01.2022 Congratulations to Jon and Benny on achieving their BJJ Blue Belts. Both gentlemen are technicians, love drilling, and highly competent at their craft, which makes them dangerous to others. Also, they are great club people to have in our Redback BJJ school.Well done.

01.01.2022 Competition does not define you. Your character and who you are do not change if you win or lose. Winning and losing are the same thing they both indicate learning. The fear of failure in front of peers is what stops us from entering competitions. There is an expectation that (insert your name) should win. Well after a lifetime of competing in Stand-up, and now ground I'm telling you very loudly that you don't always win, that winning is not always an option but you do not ...lose either. Your character is built through the cauldron of adversity. This is not taken away simply because you lose. You are who you are before and after the bout. That has not changed. Your friends, the school, the instructors and training partners admire you for the character qualities you possess, not your competition record.
