25.01.2022 Let's be honest and put misplaced national pride aside. Facts are facts!

22.01.2022 Record support 85% Australians are all for indigenous recognition in the constitution... Going beyond this will we show support for antidiscrimination clauses as well... I do hope so.

22.01.2022 I welcome respectful comments on this... Do you think "recognising" limits the scope of what we can and can't discuss on indigenous affairs and does it push out of reach the aspiration of Treaty. Thanking Chris Peterson for the share... Can it legitimately be treated as a first step or does it jeopardise the attainment of Treaty?

21.01.2022 So this happened 23 years ago today #StKilda footballer #NickyWinmar after being racially abused all day by #Collingwood fans lifted his shirt and said "I'm... black and I'm proud to be black." We proudly stand with #Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people in their continued struggle for equality and justice. #Treaty now.

13.01.2022 30 years later and little has changed

12.01.2022 Remarkable find. This would probably have been destroyed if Jabiluka mining had continued! #therealhistoryofaustralia

12.01.2022 This article by Celeste Liddle is poignant to say the least! Spend a single moment with your eyes closed and imagine in your minds eye what it might possibly feel like right now to be an indigenous person in Australia. If this was you wouldnt you fight to keep your culture? Wouldn't you resist this ideology of assimilation on white mans terms? When will "Australians" as a majority require our governments to treat indigenous affairs as a serious human rights concern and with inclusive consultation resist assuming indigenous people don't know their own needs and desires. I've personally had enough of the rhetoric. Thankyou Celeste for your honest summation.

12.01.2022 Think about this! Perfect words from elder #rosaliekunothmonks #firstnationspeople #iamnottheproblem #treaty

08.01.2022 Relevant here in Australia as much as the US. What stops us listening to black people in this country who are telling us, our society and our government to stop institutional racism in our schools, courts, media, our sports fields, our workplaces, our hospitals etc. we should listen with our ears not our eyes!

04.01.2022 Never forget and please consider how we can motivate others to do better and demand change.

02.01.2022 Who's view is being promoted here? This doco is unnecessarily polarising. Given this significantly impacts indigenous people why aren't there more indigenous views presented. Why should Andrew Bolt's opinion even count?

01.01.2022 Please watch this incredible four corners documentary "ripped off". Our most disadvantaged communities swindled by people receiving government funding to support and develop indigenous communities. We trust that the government takes enough care that the indigenous programs are protected. This is complete fraud and mismanagement by the commonwealth.
