A Guide to Native Bees of Australia by Terry Houston offers information about the wide range of Australian native plant species used by the 1,500+ named native bee species here in Australia. There is still an unknown number of native bees waiting to be found and identified, along with their host plants. For many species, if you don't have the right plant(s) you don't get those bees - some are very specialised.
