16.01.2022 ATC Media Release The Australian Tamil Congress (ATC) is aware of false claims purported in certain sections of the Sri Lankan media related to an event held in Sydney on 5th July. The ATC believes that such irresponsible reporting reflects the poor credibility of such media and their intention to tarnish the image of the ATC.... We call upon the Australian government and the international community to be vigilant of malicious campaigns launched by sections of the Sri Lankan media with vested interests, and not deter from holding the Sri Lankan government to account for alleged war crimes, crimes against humanity and ongoing human rights abuses under the UNHRC resolution 30/1 passed in 2015.
