12.01.2022 Rhonda Johnstone's "Princess Gum", finalist in the ATAA 2020, is a 3D piece created using all cotton fabrics and cotton threads. The leaves are machine sewn and the gumnuts hand sewn; the flowers and stamens are created with embroidery cotton and the stems with cotton fabric, piping and wire. The background is free machine sewn. So effective!
