As threading is in high-demand, more and more course providers are available across the country and without proper regulation, it may be tricky to find the right one. This checklist will help you decide which course provider is right for you:... What is the length of the course? Learning threading from scratch requires extensive practise. Practise under supervision of an expert will help you avoid creating bad habits, which may be challenging to alter later on. We recommend a minimum of 3 full days under supervision, to learn the basics of threading. What does the course cover? The course should include client consultation, eyebrow shaping course for different skin & hair types, different techniques and tips to master accuracy & pain-free, adverse effects, OH&S & licenses, injury preventions, preparation of area & tools, business related challenges, marketing strategy, recruitment & training, etc. BACKGROUND CHECK Before you commit to a course: Check how much experience the trainers have in teaching threading (how many students have they trained) Speak with ex-students to find out how they went during and after the course Find out what type of post-course support is available
