24.01.2022 ATW and our Deadly Start school-based health trainees were fortunate to receive a tour of Bond University recently. The trainees were exposed to Bond’s impressive facilities, including the health faculty, the Indigenous support unit (Nyombil) as well as the respective staff. With grade 12 approaching, many of the trainees have identified the specialties they wish to explore further and the experience at Bond has presented another avenue for pursuing this. This follows ATW’s ...mission to ensure that trainees are aware of the various pathways upon completion of grade 12 and their school-based traineeship, and the appropriate plan can be developed to achieve individual trainee aspirations. 19.01.2022 NEW TRAINEE ATW is excited to welcome Shayna who has recently commenced her Business Administration Traineeship with the Cairns Aboriginal and Torres Strait Housing Centre. Shayna is part of the Queensland Government's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Traineeship Program within the Department of Housing and Public Works. Upon successful completion of her traineeship, Shayna will hold a Certificate III in Business Administration. ATW looks forward to being part of this exciting journey.
