13.01.2022 MARKET LEADING PEDESTRIAN BARRIERS FOR ACCESS CONTROL ATDC has installed its high end pedestrian barriers to provide access control to both the Concourse Level and George Street level at Transit Hall Wynyard Station in Sydney. Installed at the entry/exit to the travelators and escalators to both areas, these trackless and relocatable barriers have been installed with seamless floor lockable devices to provide an extra level of security, thereby making them a more effective ...access control device. Specified by Martin Place based Architectus Sydney, the barriers have been powdercoated in a Matt Dark Bronze to complement the environs of the Transit Hall area. Project managers for the project were Multiplex Global. ATDC’s pedestrian barriers are independently audited and tested for safety of operation and for OH+S workplace purposes. 05.01.2022 SECURITY DOORS AND SHUTTERS FOR HAIRDRESSERS, BARBERS, BEAUTY SALONS An interesting trend is the widespread proliferation of barber shops across Australia which are appearing not only in the major shopping centres but also in neighbourhood centres, strip malls and stand alone stores. ATDC has seen a surge in demand for its popular security doors and shutters not only for these barber shops but also for hairdressing salons and Beauty Salons. The major reasons for the populari...ty is the appeal of ATDC’s heritage looking old style security doors and shutters which retract sideways out of the way when not in use so as to be almost totally invisible. These doors enhance the older style look and feel of these outlets. The main photograph above shows a recent installation at House of Barbers at Macarthur Square in Cambpelltown.
