08.01.2022 A very sad result because of a simple mistake. In this article the family risks a cancellation and 3 year ban because they made a very simple mistake. My two cents worth:... 1. For the record, despite that the article said they risk deportation (the news agencies love to use this word), thats not going to happen. If you have no visa you have to leave, and if you wont leave you get removed. If you get removed you can come back. Deportation is only for permanent residents who have committed significant offences and is a lifetime ban. 2. This would have been a tough one given that there is a child with a condition that may have triggered one of the Health Public Interest Criteria. 3. I think a good agent could have solved the incorrect information issue quite easily. The Child with GDD would be harder but still possible.

03.01.2022 I have a number of cases where a group of people appear to me to have been treated with unsupported bias and racial profiling to their detriment. I have taken these on as a matter of principle. Unfortunately this does impinge on my ability to take on normal paid work. I apologise, I can not take on any new work for another month or two unless it is Partner Visas. (I specialise in these and have many good templates and tools which allow them to fit into my time profiles.
