09.01.2022 OctoberVET 2019 is back! Call for 2019 events The Australasian Vocational Education and Training Research Association (AVETRA) is calling for expressions of interest from people who wish to run an OctoberVET event in their area in 2019. OctoberVET is a season of local presentations or discussions coordinated by AVETRA. The goal is to showcase, disseminate and debate VET research. OctoberVET events can be large or small, formal or informal. They can be about showcasing VET res...earch (underway or completed). They can be conversations around research that should be done in the VET sector. They can focus on how to apply VET research. An OctoberVET event can be any or all these things! CLICK HERE for more details. If you are interested in running an OctoberVET event, please email or call Steven Hodge ([email protected] / 0421224474). Please indicate the proposed focus or theme of your event, and give me an idea of possible dates and venue. We are more than happy to work with you to refine or develop your event. We also offer practical support and trouble-shooting advice in the lead up to your event. You can also apply to AVETRA for a small grant that can be put toward catering or other costs associated with running your event. OctoberVET events ideally run in October, but we often have events that run after that month and some run before. http://avetra.org.au//octobervet-2019-is-back-call-for-201
