Conc...retes contain all of the potent fragrant compounds of the plant as well as other lipid soluble compounds. After the concrete is processed with a second solvent, only the pure absolute remains. An absolute is different from an essential oil because they can contain both aromatic and non-aromatic chemical constituents.
