17.01.2022 The count is in! Last night's Bushfire fundraiser raised $29,863.75 for the Victorian bushfire and wildlife appeals and the Carrum Downs CFA. Lisa Gandy, Kim W...ard, and the wonderful team and Sandhurst Real Estate who we worked with to put on this event will top up this amount to $30,000!! IT was indeed an honour to met Ashley Bravington the Chair at Carrum Downs Fire Brigade who along with his local team have been bravely fighting many Victorian bushfires this summer. Our community thanks the fireys! Our effort was greatly helped along by the generous team at SMART Business Solutions led by Shannon Smit who contributed a cheque for $10,000! WOW! As for the Vogue Entertainment team - we presented a wonderful line up of amazing and talented entertainers and musicians who generously gave up their time to support this cause. My heartfelt thanks go to: ~ The astounding James Cupples & Emily who opened the night. ~ The glamorous Andrea Lees who payed tribute to Olivia Newton-John along with keyboardist / vocalist Adrian Scott. ~ George Grayland from The Australian Joe Cocker Show did an amazing tribute and uncanny likeness to Joe Cocker. ~ The audience was blown away by Tilarni Senn and The Australian Whitney Houston Show along with David Senn, Travis Senn, Hayley and dancers. ~ We finished with a bang as Always Elvis featuring Mike Cole hit the stage and dazzled the audience. ~ Christelle Perez who choreographed and presented her gorgeous dancers ~ @Con for supplying the Production Thank you! ~ The amazing talents of photographer Lyndel Hoy from Imagery by Lyndel. Her images are featured here. And lastly I want to thank my wonderful wife Candice who's hi-energy, power and animation can stun an unsuspecting audience into a sudden state of euphoria. Costumed as a ringmaster MC, she kicked off the night by entering the room with 2 dancers and sang "The Rhythm of The Night". By the time she was finished, the audience were on their feet and screaming. Unbelievable! At that point, I knew it was going to be a great night. Looking at what a small community can do when it comes together is truly moving and inspirational. Now... let's work harder.
