22.01.2022 - Red Flowering Gum - The red flowering gum is a most spectacular flowering evergreen tree, producing a profusion of flowers in mid-Summer ranging in colour from deep crimson to orange, pink and sometimes even white against the large mid-green leaves. A beautiful shade tree - most attractive to birds for its good nectar flow. Grows to about 10m (33'). Height can be restricted by pruning if required - pruning will not adversely affect flowering - in fact pruning often stimul...ates profuse flowering and strong colours in the following flowering season.
