15.01.2022 We are delighted to announce that the WINNER of the 2020 Honourable Dr Robyn Layton AO QC Award is TRACEE MICALLEF! Tracee is a barrister and solicitor at Mical...lef Lipson Chambers, who specialises in a number of areas including youth and criminal offences. She is particularly known for her tireless representation of parents in the care and protection jurisdiction of the Youth Court. The care and protection jurisdiction is a particularly challenging one as it involves children being taken away from parents due to fears that the children are at risk from harm. As a result, there are few lawyers who are prepared to practice in this area. Tracee is one of the special few who does, and has become one of the most senior lawyers practising in this jurisdiction. She is highly respected by both the bench and her opponents. We congratulate Tracee and thank her for all her OUTSTANDING efforts in the legal profession. We look forward to formally presenting Tracee with her award at our rescheduled drinks event in February 2021 (details to follow in the new year).
