24.01.2022 "Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?" - Martin Luther King Jr. - It is our role in our schools to continue to seek justice, foster community and create experiences together. As we come to the end of the term, do not give up in doing good for your school. What are those final actions that you can implement to see change? Remember also to continue to do good to others as we move into the holidays. - Peace, Australia YCS Team
23.01.2022 Saint Oscar Romero "Even when they call us mad, when they call us subversives and communists and all the epithets they put on us, we know we only preach the subversive witness of the Beatitudes, which have turned everything upside down." - St. Oscar Romero
21.01.2022 During these rushed and stressful times it is important for us to stop, reflect and acknowledge that the Lord is always with us. Take some time now to pray through the YCS Prayer, take a deep breath and acknowledge that we are not alone amidst these troubling times. Dear Jesus, Please fill us with your spirit of love. Help us to see the world as you do,... to judge with your heart, and to act with the strength and courage you have shown us as we work to transform our world. Amen See more

07.01.2022 We are looking for new Adult Assistants in our cities! The role of the Adult Assistant is to support, empower and positively challenge the students within the group. The experience, knowledge and wisdom of an Adult Assistant can greatly contribute to the effective development of the students as active Christian leaders. - As noted by Joseph Cardijn, Above all, the Assistant must communicate the person of Christ ... but it isn’t enough to reveal their mission... he must stir ...in them a desire for the apostolate; he must help, encourage and guide them in their understanding. For this, he must know them... and finally, these lay apostles may be formed. - For more info please message our facebook page and we can get you in touch with the right people! - National YCS Team See more

Her feast day is celebrated on May 24, which this year coincides with the Feast of the Ascension. - Mary Help of Christians pray for us.

02.01.2022 For those that don't know about Fr. Daniel Berrigan, here's a taste! The sponsors of war closely resemble the weapons they create. Smart bombs, depleted uranium, land mines, rockets and tanks, rather than protect 'widows and orphans and strangers at the gate', are designed precisely to create 'widows and orphans', to transform strangers into enemies and enemies into corpses. Instead of building the peace by attacking injustices like starvation, disease, illiteracy, politi...cal and economic servitude, we spend a trillion dollars on war since 1946. - Fr. Daniel Berrigan SJ, 1921-2016
