18.01.2022 Here is Jodie, she is one of our valuable plant propagators, with our new Chamelaucium, commonly called Geraldton Wax. It will be available for sale 2021 and it will be called 'Jodie's Pink'. This Wax has unusually large bright pink flowers.

17.01.2022 We have these beautiful daisies for sale in our nursery.

17.01.2022 This is not a weed, it is a beautiful feathery, soft, Australian native grass called Austrostipa elegantissima, commonly called Elegant Spear Grass which is flowering now. This would make an attractive addition to a native garden full of low Australian native shrubs and groundcovers. Also an interesting addition to road verge planting. Unfortunately my photography of it in a garden setting does not do it justice.

16.01.2022 We 'giggle' when Landscape Architects and Landscapers request Eremophila maculata because they obviously have no knowledge of how many beautiful forms there are. Here are some samples.

This presentation is part of the project 'A world for woodlands - reducing threats to Banksia Threatened Ecological Communities through land stewardship' funded by National Landcare Program and the Peel-Harvey Catchment Council.

16.01.2022 Over the last few months we have had a large number of Motorbike Frogs mating in our nursery area resulting in many hundreds of tadpoles. The tadpoles are living in a large pot enjoying being fed fish flakes by us and customers. It is hard to stop watching them, they are truly fascinating!

05.01.2022 A bee hive in a very old Jarrah tree in Keysbrook last Friday. Such a pity the bees are there as it would make a great nesting site for native birds. However, it is interesting to see the way the honey bees have built it. Perhaps man made bee hives have got the right design?

01.01.2022 Beautiful Sturt Desert Peas. The time to plant is between now and Christmas and they will flower for you all summer. These would make a special Christmas present and a colourful welcome to 2021.
