23.01.2022 Christmas is nearly here - just 4 short weeks! To help us make parcel collection as smooth as possible, please have your parcel card and ID when you come into the post office. Yes, your family and friends know you and you may have lived in York all your life - I haven't ! I don't know everyone and neither do our staff. Please don't abuse our staff for doing their job.... It is an Australia Post requirement to check ID before handing over a parcel. Christmas is a joyous time and I'm sure we're all looking forward to it considering 2020 has been a tough time for a lot of people. Let's take a deep breath, reset and help each other get through the next few weeks.

10.01.2022 Just when you think things are getting back to normal .... I don't know about you, BUT I forgot about the Brexit deal - you know the UK leaving the European union??? Ooops. We received a notification today via Australia Post, about the changes that will take place from 1 January 2021. "As a result of the UK leaving the European Union, on 1 January 2021, the collection of duties and taxes for the import of commercial goods into the UK will change. All sellers, including onl...ine retailers, sellers on marketplaces and international businesses selling directly to UK consumers by phone or mail order, are likely to be impacted by this change." 06.01.2022 Christmas is a special time for many people and something to look forward to after a crazy year. Post early to make sure your gifts/cards arrive on time. Post this week for overseas and early December for Australia. Remember, the York Post Office will supply the packaging (in the "if it pack it posts range, exc prepaid satchels) when your gifts are purchased from us and posted with us.
