Eyelash extension adhesives were originally derived from industrial strength adhesives, some companies have adopted a more expensive cosmetic formulation, others are selling you no more than cheap bottled super glue, tinted black with a carbon thats unsafe commercially. Formaldehyde and other impurities are present and used during the manufacturing process in eyelash extension adhesives. All impurities in the adhesive get distilled out during the manufacturing process. The higher the impurities used in the formulation (harsh chemicals, which are cheap fillers) the more times it should be distilled to remove the impurities, but they are not being removed. Why? Because its too expensive to distill a product over and over and the overall quantuty reduces. Therefore many dangerous chemicals still remain in the formulation. This means they are being sold to you with levels of chemicals that are not only carcinogenic but carry warning signs as may cause harm to unborn babies. High levels which you and your client are breathing in the vapors for up to 8 hours a day. Some overseas companies are using solvents such as petrol to ensure their adhesives dont separate. Vegan Lash Adhesive may separate while stored (best in your fridge) because we refuse to use harsh solvents. This just means give it a shake before application.
