If you are a Musician, comedian, street performer or Dancer, we want you to be involved with this fantastic community event. Participation in the Love Broome Expo is an opportunity to perform for a large and varied audience, of all ages and interests. 17.01.2022 Dear Valued Community Contributors This years Expo is on May 9th and 10th at the Broome Civic Centre and surrounding grounds. Its a beautiful venue and some of you will remember the community Expos which used to be at that venue decades ago. We are calling it the Love Broome Expo this year, to promote the Shires branding and community togetherness. ... We have spaces left for local community groups to participate and wed love to see you there. With an anticipated 5-6,000 attendance its also a great opportunity to promote your organisation, its achievements, its goals, lift local support and participation and also possibly raise funds. If you have questions, please direct them to Kartika on 9193 7008 and bear with us as we have a mountain of work to do to deliver this event in such a short timeframe. If you have trouble with the site fee, we can discuss options. If you know of any other community group which would benefit from promoting themselves or fundraising at Expo, please ensure they contact us soon, so we have time to organise help for them. We will set up the venue on Thursday May 7th, exhibitors can set their stands up on Friday May 8th, and were staging our legendary opening cocktail party on Friday night. The site is being fenced, security will be in place and were looking forward to a weekend full of fun, colour entertainment and lots of business and networking. 15.01.2022 MEDIA RELEASE Love Broome is back at Expo This coming weekend Saturday May 9th 9am to 5pm and Sunday May 10th 9am to 4pm, theres going to be major action at the Broome Civic Centre and surrounding grounds when the Love Broome Expo bursts into colourful action.... For only a gold coin donation, you can enter the gate prize draw for a host of exciting prizes. With sideshows, entertainers, tasty food, and local music, the entire Shire block will be fenced in to create a huge Broome style chill out zone. Locals can catch up with friends, relax in the lush gardens and enjoy a thoroughly family atmosphere, where theres something to entertain everyone. For the Mothers Day weekend Expo will offer some fabulous surprises, including pamper resort weekends, cash bank accounts and best of all, the chance to have the children entertained while Mums relax. Costa returns from Sydney for a visit to see how Broomes Incredible Edible groups are flourishing. Local organisations are showing off their achievements to the community. Comedian and teenage guru Nathan Hulls will come to meet our youth, and the celebrity Weber chef Tony Fry will cook up some mouth-watering dishes on his outdoor barbecues.
