25.01.2022 We love the coastal views of The Margaret River Region. You'll experience this epic coastline like @thewanderlife_ (IG) did here near Contos Campsite in Witchcliffe, and see the ocean in many hues of blue when you hike along the Cape to Cape Track - a 135km-long hiking trail which stretches from Cape Naturaliste to Cape Leeuwin. All you have to do is #WanderOutYonder and start exploring. @thewanderlife_ on Instagram.
24.01.2022 Have you experienced art immersed in nature? When you walk the 1.2km loop trail of Understory- Art & Nature which begins from the Northcliffe Visitor Centre & Public Library, you'll discover a series of sculptures entangled into the flora of the forest. It's a beautiful mix of human creativity and the natural world. #WanderOutYonder to Northcliffe in the Southern Forests and Valleys today and find out for yourself! 23.01.2022 Did you know that the largest known pod of orca (killer whales) in the Southern Hemisphere congregate in the Bremer Canyon each year from January until early April? During the season, you can hop on board an all day charter boat tour from Bremer Bay and journey out to the canyon to find these fascinating marine mammals. #WanderOutYonder during the 2021 season for a chance to tick this wildlife hotspot off your bucket list! 23.01.2022 There's an abundance of wildflowers in bloom across the region at the moment! For West Aussies, there couldn't be a more vibrant time to #WanderOutYonder - just take this burst of colour contrast at Black Diamond Lake in VisitCollie as proof. Is a trip to explore Visit Bunbury Geographe in order? We think so! Photo by VLW Photography aka @vlwphotography on Instagram.
23.01.2022 We're blown away by the amount of blue whales migrating past our South West coastline at the moment! As @dylan.dehaas (IG) describes his recent whale watching trip off the coast of Dunsborough in The Margaret River Region; "I went from never seeing a blue whale to seeing 12 this weekend! The sheer size of these guys is hard to comprehend, I can now see why they are the largest animal to ever live on earth ". We couldn't agree more - and it seems the blue whale numbers are increasing each year. This is certainly something worth ticking off the bucket list - just #WanderOutYonder and hop on board a whale watching charter to see one for yourself! Dylan Dehaas
21.01.2022 As Osprey Creative discovered, it's not hard to find paradise in #AustraliasSouthWest. We can't wait until Greens Pool in Denmark's William Bay National Park finally reopens after redevelopment to the car park and facilities are complete. We're crossing our fingers and toes that we'll be able to dive into the peppermint-tinged waters of this iconic spot on The Amazing South Coast by November this year. Who's with us? 19.01.2022 Reposting The Margaret River Region: Where the Margaret River meets the ocean. It's a beautiful area filled with natural wonder; amazing surf, a peaceful river and so much birdlife. Hike along the Cape to Cape Track or join a canoe tour on the river, then refuel at the nearby coffee van or cafes a little further south. It's the perfect place to #WanderOutYonder. 18.01.2022 How dreamy is this!? We'll never get sick of the fairy floss sunset skies in the South West. All you have to do is #WanderOutYonder and experience one for yourself. Our tip: The 1.841km-long Busselton Jetty is a great iconic spot to watch the sun go down. During the day, you can also walk or catch the train to the very end of the jetty - the longest wooden piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere - and delve below the surface in the Underwater Observatory, where you'll find a colourful world of corals and sea-life. 02.01.2022 The dolphins are once again starting to frequent the beautiful waters of Bunbury's Koombana Bay in Visit Bunbury Geographe as we head into peak dolphin season (November - April). Just outside the Dolphin Discovery Centre you can wet your legs in the shallows of the Bay in what as known as the Interaction Zone, and learn about and interact with the wild bottlenose dolphins as they frolick, sleep and play close to the shore. The Dolphin Discovery Centre is currently open 6 days a week (closed Tuesdays) but the volunteers are around each morning to welcome the dolphins, so #WanderOutYonder and come see them for yourself! You can also hop on board an Eco Cruise (year-round, weather dependent) to spot them out at sea, or join a Dolphin Swim (seasonal) for an unforgettable intimate experience.
