25.01.2022 All together now, spin, twist, and lift! These guys may need to keep practising their synchronised swimming routine, but their setting sure is on point. As IG/meishslife discovered, the crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches of Moreton Bay in #Visit Queensland, Australia are pretty special. This island escape is only 90-minutes from #Visit Brisbane and is home to the Tangalooma Wrecks - an amazing man-made wreck dive and snorkel site.

05.01.2022 This is the response from Taiwan in regarding RCEP: Regarding the RCEP issue, the responsible government must inform the people of the development of the international economic and trade situation and make the correct layout for Taiwan. We can’t put all our eggs in the same basket as we did in the past, so we have been trying many ways to open up more opportunities for Taiwan. Looking back, when the opposition parties claimed that cross-strait relations were the best, Taiw...an did not wait for Beijing’s goodwill to make progress in the participation of RCEP, but Taiwan’s economy was in trouble because of its excessive dependence on the single market. Therefore, in the face of China's unreasonable suppression of Taiwan's international participation, the way to respond is not to submit or accept unreasonable conditions, but to continue to strengthen oneself and find a breakthrough. Taiwan's products have long faced competition in the markets of RCEP member states. Whether it is the government or the industry, we have already #advanced deployment and adjustments: 1Over 70% of Taiwan’s exports to RCEP members are zero tariffs. 2Some industries that may be affected by tariffs, such as machinery, plastics, steel, textiles and other industries. Most of China’s products exclude Japan and South Korea from tax cuts, or gradually reduce them over 10 years. #The short-term impact is limited. 3 Through the new southward policy, we have assisted the industry in actively deploying the ASEAN countries. Together with the improvement of industrial competitiveness, the import share of Taiwan products in the major ASEAN countries is gradually growing. We are also actively striving for various international economic and trade cooperation, and we have begun to promote the systematic economic transformation and upgrading of the country, so that Taiwan # turns from dependence to an indispensable role in the world. At the just-concluded APEC annual ministerial meeting, Taiwan jointly participated in drawing up its post-2020 economic vision. The Taiwan delegation is also about to launch the "Taiwan-US Economic Prosperity Partnership Dialogue" to deepen Taiwan-US economic and trade cooperation. Even in the face of the challenge of the epidemic this year, Taiwan’s overall economy has continued to grow steadily. Both the overall amount of investment in Taiwan and the Taiwan stock index have continued to set records. All these prove that the Taiwanese have vision and confidence, and I will lead the country in unity to win the International Cup. See more
