22.01.2022 At the Freestyle Now coaching session on Tuesday the skatepark participants cam up with this list on the skatepark etiquette This is a skatepark not a playground. It is to be used as a skatepark not a playground. Young children are at risk of injury if left to use the skatepark as a playground. Litter and rubbish needs to be put in the bins not on the ground. Its not a hard task. You put effort into learning trick, put effort into placing rubbish in the bins. Be sure to call ...people out if they dont. Skatepark participating is dangerous. The wearing of safety equipment is your responsibility. Don't let someone else have to feed you for the rest of your life because you did not wear a helmet. Brain damage is not cool, helmets are Communication is important. no matter what you ride or their age, communication helps everyone enjoys the skatepark Check your surroundings before you ride. Look left, right, forwards and backwards. The skatepark is for everyone, no one owns it. Share the skatepark equally. Snaking is not good for you or others. Communication helps everyone enjoys the skatepark Respect other users no matter what they ride or how old they are. You give respect you get respect. Skateparks are not a place for disrespectful people. Help the younger skatepark users understand the skatepark etiquette Tagging and graffiti might look great on your bedroom walls but please respect our space and keep it there not here.
