19.01.2022 Such a hard and sad week for 2 of our Australs families many condolences and wishes to Stewart family on the sudden loss of Noreen.. a wonderful wife to Clarke (dec) , Mum and Nanna and Great -Nanna And to the Hardy/Woods families on the tragic loss of a beautiful young man and also your Aunty ..much , much love to you all. . .

16.01.2022 Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone knows about a game that was filmed, possibly in the 80's/early 90's..? Would be awesome to try and track it down. Apparenty it may have been commentated by Jimmy Hull aswell.. I'm wondering if it mightve been a Derby. Would be great to find it if anyone has any ideas.

07.01.2022 Lots of love and thoughts to Stuie and Tracy Reid on the loss of your mum, especially today for the funeral of Edie Reid. Lots of good memories and laughs in the fun days at the Australs Football Club. 1pm today at the cemetery in Katanning for a graveside service.

07.01.2022 Was just having a chat to Greg LeeSteere .. this jumper belonged to his dad when he played for Australs in the 1960s he said its really heavy wool...lol... the players these days dont know how lucky they have it when it rains. .. Greg played through the 80s-early 90s, if anyones got any team photos it would be great to see them

07.01.2022 Sharing from New Lost Katanning page.... Dean Garretson originally posted this photo on the old Lost Katanning page with the caption Australs Cardinals junior football . There seemed to be some conjecture about the origins of the photo however, with several members adding their thoughts:... . Micael Kowald was of the opinion it was actually a photo of a Katanning High School team playing in an inter-school carnival. They had borrowed the Australs colts team jumpers because they were in West Perth red and blue. . There was a number of names of the players added by various people and they included (in no particular order) Gary Wolfe, Peter Dewar, Ashley Flugge, Frank Rocco, Michael Kowald, James Beaton, Enzo Pontillo, David Steere, Peter Allsop, Brett Pantall, Anthony Underwood, Paul Escott, Brendon Carson, Clive Leach, Terry McAuliffe, Warren Lodding. . Paul Escott also added Interesting thing with this photo is some went on to play in the Australs colts grand final winning teams of 83 with Keith Dye (coach, deceased) and Jason Ryan's dad (coach) in 84. They also formed the nucleus of the KSHS team that played at Country week under Mr Hunt and went from division C to division A inside 3 years. . (PS: Check out the kid bottom left!
