23.01.2022 To all clients of Austrans please find detailed below our response to the incredible events impacting our community at this point in time. Be advised that we take this extremely seriously and have implemented a number of mitigation strategies to try and ensure the vital services we offer don’t experience any interruption. We do however need to point out that this is an unparalleled event and the situation is fluid and all businesses can only manage as best able to in these ...trying times. All support staff are operating on a rotating roster to ensure that we retain coverage if there was a potential exposure. An in depth cleaning and hygiene programme was already part of our standard operating procedures, this has been built upon to provide as much security to our people and the community we serve as possible. Appropriate PPE has been provided to our workforce. Face to face meetings have been amended to electronic communications. Electronic documentation in use where applicable. Other measures we may take to further provide business continuity maybe split shifts to again limit exposure to the wider workforce and provide us the flexibility to continue services if one of those workgroups are impacted in any way. We have recruited to provide more available workers as well as engaged additional subcontractors. As we have stated, Austrans are here to deliver for all our customers and the wider community. Please be aware though that some events are beyond our control and you may experience some delays or even some interruption but we value each of you and will endeavour to ensure any impacts are kept to a minimum.
