22.01.2022 Austrava Spouted Pouches - tried and tested to comply with HPP processing. High Pressure Processing is a cold pasteurization technique which consists of subjecting food, previously sealed in flexible and water-resistant packaging, to a high level of hydrostatic pressure (pressure transmitted by water) up to 600 MPa / 87,000 psi for a few seconds to a few minutes. It is the same effect as subjecting the food to an ocean depth of 60 Km deep -if an ocean this deep existed. High Pressure Processing is a natural, environmentally friendly process that respects the ingredient and helps maintain the fresh food characteristics like flavour and nutrients. It is a real alternative to traditional thermal and chemical treatments.

05.01.2022 There is actually a solution to this problem. No, the impact will will not be immediate but with time, the situation is bound to improve. Removing plastic is not a fix as we rely too much on this material for our day to day life. An immediate fix is substituting this hard plastic with one that will dissolve in water once it is immersed. The challenge is making those plastics easy to live with and inexpensive. https://www.abc.net.au//whale-dies-after-eating-p/10917282
