12.01.2022 It is with a very heavy heart that the Austrian Australian Club has to inform everyone that Anita Leins, the Treasurer, beloved committee member and long time member and supporter of the club suddenly passed away on Sunday morning. Anita will be missed by so many of us. We send our prays and love to her family - Anita leaves behind her partner, Helmut, two sons, daughter-in-law and two grandsons. 07.01.2022 Our much loved Anita Leins will be farewelled this Thursday 3rd September at the Gungahlin Crematorium from 12 noon, followed by the celebration of her life at The Austrian Australian Club, Heard Street, Mawson. There will also be a live stream of the service in the hall at The Austrian Australian Club from 12 noon. The club will be closed to the public from 12 noon. If you would like to attend Anita’s farewell please email the club so that we can pass your details on to the family. Numbers are limited due to COVID 19. 70 inside the chapel and 20 outside. The Austrian Australian club is limited to 142 persons.
