08.01.2022 We finally found a nice check! Pink and black with little stars just for that subtle western touch We only got a couple of meters in all these prints for now just so we could see what the material/prints were like. Some are discontinued and down to the last few meters so if we get multiple orders for any I'll need to see what's left at the time.

04.01.2022 Although this was extremely difficult for me, I felt today, being Mothers Day was the perfect day to honour my Mum, Mona who sadly lost her battle with cancer on March 24th. My Mum was one of the kindest, caring, thoughtful, giving, all round wonderful people I will ever have the pleasure of knowing and loving in my lifetime. She was always a pillar of strength, happiness and positivity for me. Always there to listen, always there for a good yarn and a laugh, always there to ...help in any way she could and always trying to help me bring my dreams to life. I am so incredibly proud to be her daughter and to have been raised and guided by her throughout my life. Although she is now only with me in spirit, I know she'll always be watching over me. Watching to make sure I'm looking after myself, living my best life and especially to make sure I'm working hard! Thank you mum for everything and for being the best Mother you could be for me. We all love and miss you dearly. Until we meet again. I love you always and forever. RIP special lady

03.01.2022 As many of you know, Mum and I have been operating AWS together since day 1, a Mother & daughter team. Unfortunately we received some terrible news about mum's health a few days ago. Without going into all the details, she has aggressive terminal cancer and sadly will not be with us much longer. This is an extremely painful time for mum and our family, we are all absolutely devastated. We are losing the one person that has always been there for us - our Mother, grandmother,... business partner, the backbone of our family, our best friend. Trying to navigate life without her will be the hardest thing any of us will ever have to do. We will eventually get there, 1 hour at a time. Over the next few weeks I will process the last of the orders when I can. Probably with mumsies help because she wouldn't have it any other way! Once the orders are cleared up I will only be doing ready made shirts primarily until further notice. If I do take any orders it will only be small, quick and easy ones at my discretion. Unfortunately even in tragic circumstances time waits for no-one and bills still need to be paid. Please don't think this is the end for Aussie Western Shirts because it most certainly will not be. I will build AWS back up and continue operating as best I can once we've had time to process the loss when it happens and get through all the changes that are coming over the next few months. Mum and I built AWS together and I will continue our dream to the best of my ability once everything settles down. To those of you that have sent messages over the last few days and didn't get a reply yet, I apologize. I will get back to you when I can but at the moment time with mum is the most important thing for all of us and I won't be online much. We thank you for your understanding during this very difficult, upsetting time.
