25.01.2022 If you have lost a wallet near our Temora office today please contact us on 02 69780077 with a description of the wallet. Hoping to return it to its rightful owner. There's no ID in it and possibly belongs to a teenage student.
24.01.2022 The 2020 budget contains no specific changes for SMSF's although there were some announcements concerning superannuation generally.
23.01.2022 Happy Birthday Peter!! We hope you have a wonderful day
22.01.2022 One good thing to come out of the COVID pandemic is that we have the best access to training and CPD opportunities we've ever had, without needing to leave Temora! Looking forward to doing this conference next week.
22.01.2022 The NSW Government has announced an additional $3.9 billion in funding, including $1.5 billion from the Commonwealth, to support businesses and individuals affe...cted by lockdown restrictions in NSW. This additional funding will extend the JobSaver program and Micro-business Grant and continue rent relief incentives. Additional relief for businesses will be provided with further reductions in payroll tax as well as allowing eligible businesses to defer their payroll tax payments. A new hardship panel will also assess businesses that do not qualify for COVID-19 grants, on a case-by-case basis. For more information on the 2021 COVID-19 Support Package visit: https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-/2021-covid-19-support-package.

19.01.2022 From Monday 11th October, the Public Health Order mandates that only fully vaccinated people can enter some premises. This is a good time to remember we are all... adjusting to the new requirements, and we can all do our part. When you enter a business from Monday, unless it is deemed an essential service, you are required to provide proof that you are fully vaccinated. This can be done with a Covid Vaccination Certificate available through Medicare in digital or paper formats. Failure to do so could result in the business, and yourself, receiving a hefty fine. You are also required to wear a mask and sign in. Businesses that will require proof of vaccination on entry include gyms, restaurants, cafes, pubs and clubs, hairdressers, beauty services and non-essential retail stores. You can access your Covid Vaccination Certificate via one of the following avenues: the Express Plus Medicare mobile app on your phone the Medicare online account through myGov on your phone MyHealth Record on your phone Australian Immunisation Register (printed copy only) the Service NSW app (coming soon) iPhone users can add the certificate to their wallet app and Android users can download theirs to Google Pay. Please support our local business community by complying with the Public Health Order with a smile, and with patience. It is a difficult time for everyone, and it won’t last forever.
18.01.2022 Apologies to our clients but we've got a blackout in the Temora office and our phones are down. Hopefully will be up and running again soon.
18.01.2022 Woops, we got so busy enjoying being back in the office that we forgot to reveal our last baby photo competition results. Thanks to everyone who played along and congratulations to our winners.
17.01.2022 Good to see some common sense here.
16.01.2022 *** JOBKEEPER EXTENDED TO MARCH 2021 *** It has been announced today that JobKeeper Payment Scheme has been extended but the eligibility, payment amount and rules will be quite different under Jobkeeper 2.0 and we expect it will be much more difficult for local businesses and farmers to meet the new eligibility criteria. So, what do you need to know?:... Jobkeeper will continue as normal until 28 September 2020. The extension will apply from 28 September through to 28 March 2021. Only those businesses whose actual GST turnovers in each of the June AND September 2020 quarters have declined by 30% or more compared with the same periods in 2019 will be entitled to JobKeeper in the December 2020 quarter. Only those businesses whose actual GST turnovers in each of the June, September AND December 2020 quarters have declined by 30% or more compared with the same periods in 2019 will be entitled to JobKeeper in the March 2021 quarter. The JobKeeper payments will be lower and there will now be two tiers: o Employees who were working an average of 20 hours leading up to 1 March 2020, will be eligible for a $1,200 per fortnight claim for the December 2020 quarter, dropping to a $1,000 per fortnight claim for the March 2021 quarter. o For other eligible employees (both permanent part time and casual) - the amount will be $750 a fortnight for the December 2020 quarter and $650 a fortnight for the March 2021 quarter. Business participants who are not employees remain eligible on the same basis as employees. Employers must continue to pay employees first before they can receive JobKeeper. The ATO will have discretion to extend the time an entity has to pay employees in order to meet the wage condition, so that entities have time to first confirm their eligibility for the JobKeeper Payment.
15.01.2022 Congratulations to Karen and Gary!! We are so happy for you and wish you both a long and happy marriage xx
14.01.2022 Unfortunately, we are still experiencing issues with the phonelines in our Narrandera and West Wyalong offices. If you are a Narrandera client, when you dial the usual Narrandera number (02) 6959 1661, your call will be automatically diverted to the Temora office and our staff will assist you. If you are a West Wyalong client, unfortunately the (02) 6972 2433 number is not working and you will hear a message that the number has been disconnected. Instead, please call the Te...mora office on (02) 69780077 and we will assist you. Hopefully Telstra can fix these issues for us very soon. Its been 6 weeks and we are just as frustrated as you are! For whatever reason, if you are unable to call us on any of these numbers, you can email us at [email protected] or [email protected].

07.01.2022 Another week of work from home comes to an end and we’ve all been so productive that we’ve even had time to do some home reorganization and come across some baby photos! Aren’t we a bunch of cuties? Can you guess 1-9? (Left to right, top to bottom). We have a $50 Temora Gift Card for the person who can correctly guess the most staff members in the below photos, in order. ... Please message us with your guesses by 5pm on Wednesday the 8th September and next week we’ll have another set of photos to guess (and giggle over!) Please remember that while our offices are currently closed, we have staff available working remotely - if you need us, please email [email protected] or send a message to our page. Wishing all the Dads a happy Fathers Day this Sunday - stay home and stay safe, and we’ll see you all soon.
06.01.2022 ARGHH - Our Narrandera phonelines are apparently down again! We are very sorry for all the frustration this is causing our clients. It is very frustrating for us too. Be advised that we will be restricting face to face appointments with our team members wherever it is practical to do so. - Where possible, staff will be working in their home towns only, not travelling to other offices. We look forward to visiting Narrandera and West Wyalong again as the COVID situation eases. - Some staff will continue to work remotely (from home) but will still be contactable if you need assistance. We understand and appreciate that ongoing restrictions on our movements are frustrating and can impact the way we service our clients. We hope that all clients will be understanding and open to working with us in ways that ensure we can do our best work for you in the safest possible way. Take care, stay safe and please call if you need us! Kind Regards, Peter, Michelle and all Auswild & Broad Staff

04.01.2022 Good news for our West Wyalong office today. The phones are finally working again so you can ring Dayanna from Monday. 04.01.2022 JobKeeper has been extended but there are new eligibility tests and payment rates from October. 03.01.2022 Changes to Payroll Tax in NSW means more savings for employers.
03.01.2022 ** NEW CHANGES TO JOBKEEPER 1.0 ** Amendments to the JobKeeper 1.0 Rules were released on Friday 14th August with the major change being an extension of employees that are eligible to participate on the Jobkeeper Scheme. Until now, employees had to be on the books at 1 March 2020, but admission now extends to employees who were on the books as at 1 July 2020. This change is effective from the JobKeeper fortnight 10 (3rd August 16th August). In recognition of the short time... available to employers to meet the wage condition for newly eligible employees, the ATO have given employers until 31 August 2020 to meet the wage condition for JobKeeper fortnights 10 (3rd August 16th August) and 11 (17th August 30th August). If your business qualifies for Jobkeeper; 1) You need to review your list of employees and determine if there are any additional eligible employees, 2) Gather additional nomination forms for any new claimants; 3) Make sure new claimants have been paid the minimum $1500 gross per fortnight; 4) Notify the ATO before 31 August 2020; 5) Then make your claim for August before 14 September 2020.
03.01.2022 Thankyou to Farrell Goode for this excellent summary of the NSW Health Orders.
