06.01.2022 Today we found a very unique problem on an engine fitted in a 2000 holden frontera. This vehicle was found to have an irregular overheating problem after driving for short period of time. After many tests and checks on the vehicles engine, it was decided the engine need to be removed. This particular engine had a coolant and compression leaking in the left cylinder head and is visible by the discoloured piston head due to coolant entering the the piston chamber also know as ...the combustion chamber. The previous owner of this vehicle had believe to have put in a coolant system repair aka (head gasket fix in a bottle) that had blocked the coolant lines and galleries which had damaged the cooling system ultimately creating a costly repair to the engine.
