20.01.2022 AUTHENTIC BITES FROZEN DUMPLINGS COOKING INSTRUCTIONS Please always cook dumplings and buns from frozen - do not thaw or defrost before cooking. BOILED DUMPLINGS 1. Boil water in a large saucepan with a large pinch of salt.... 2. Add frozen dumplings to boiling water and boil on medium heat until cooked (approx 10 mins). 3. Drain dumplings and serve immediately. PAN FRIED DUMPLINGS 1. Heat a non-stick frying pan on medium heat. 2. Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil into the frying pan to coat the whole surface. 3. Add frozen dumplings in a single layer onto the hot oiled frying pan. 4. Carefully add cold water to frying pan to cover the bottom half of the dumplings. Watch out, it might spit! 5. Cover frying pan with a lid and cook on medium to high heat until the dumplings are cooked and water is fully evaporated (approx 10 minutes). 6. Remove dumplings from frying pan and serve immediately. WONTONS 1. Boil water in a large saucepan with a large pinch of salt. 2. Add frozen wontons to boiling water and boil on medium heat until cooked (approx 8 mins). 3. Drain wontons. 4. Add Authentic Bites homemade spicy sauce to wontons, or add wontons to your own soup or broth, and serve immediately. SHUMAI or BBQ PORK BUNS 1. Boil water in a large saucepan. 2. Place frozen shumai or BBQ pork buns into a bamboo or steel steamer, cover with a lid, and place the steamer over the boiling saucepan. 3. Steam shumai or BBQ pork buns on medium to high heat until cooked (approx 10 mins). 4. Remove shumai or BBQ pork buns from steamer and serve immediately.
