25.01.2022 Technology has given us so much but, like anything in our lives, it needs to be balanced. Balance is one of the reasons I tell my kids bed time stories at night when they are with me and really think about ways to squeeze memories into regular activities - to make moments ours to share forever and let them know that fun is what we put into life, not what some stranger can put into a game and deliver to us. I probably do this because I lost my father when I was young and I lea...rned early how precious time is with the people we love. How precious every moment is. Period. Don't get me wrong - I still enjoy playing games with my kids! Being involved in things they enjoy allows the technology to help us connect when we are physically apart but I look at those photos in the video clip and wonder how many aren't as 'lucky' and don't stop to smell those roses blooming in precious moments around us, every day. Make the moments, don't wait for them.

15.01.2022 Just working on the final stage of a long awaited website, taking a 5 minute breather and saw that I hadn't posted this amazing 'little' bit of very recent trivia... From June 15 to July 15, 2016 (yep, this year) the USA's debt went up by $150,526,412,444 yep, that's over 150 BILLION ( ... and those are figures from the U.S. Treasury site, not some ''News of The Universe'' news site that posts photos of Justin Bieber's head badly photoshopped on Britney Spears' body )... That's way too many commas in a month and one day :P
