17.01.2022 It rarely snows in Brittany, but today it did!
15.01.2022 I'm grateful that after so many years of marriage we still celebrate Valentine's Day. I got a lovely bunch of flowers from my sweetheart, we had a nice Chinese meal (made at home as all the restaurants are still closed in France), even pulled out our good plates and a tablecloth. After the meal we went for a lovely afternoon stroll in Pont Aven and bought some amazing French bread and a wonderful bottle of peach liqueur. I reckon we did OK for a place that's in semi-lockdown!

08.01.2022 More snow here today, and this time we didn't have to drive anywhere to see it. We had a white garden when we woke up. No buses for our daughter to come home from school, though: at 11am they announced all buses were cancelled!
