15.01.2022 A wonderful night out as a family tonight down at Loyola College in Watsonia for their annual car show. Lachy was super excited to see all the different cars lined up. A fantastic collection on show for him to enjoy. Here are a couple of his favourites at the show he was happy to pose next to for a rare photo opportunity.

14.01.2022 DOGS FOR KIDS & ASSISTANCE DOGS AUSTRALIA ARE JOINING FORCES! These two well-respected charities share the same vision and purpose of raising and training Assis...tance dogs to support people living with disabilities. Dogs for Kids’ Board have been working tirelessly behind the scenes with ADA’s CEO Richard Lord to facilitate a seamless transition that supported best practice outcomes. By merging with Assistance Dogs Australia we can ensure our dogs go on to fulfil their purpose, our clients will be supported, our waiting list can still have the opportunity for a dog to join their family, our volunteers can continue to provide loving homes and our staff remain employed. Celebrating its 25th year of operation, ADA is a long-standing national charity that employs a full-time equivalent of 35 staff and has trained and placed over 550 certified Assistance dogs with people living with disabilities across Australia. It has the capacity to not only continue this great work but to thrive and grow the vision/mission that started Dogs for Kids back in 2012. We were approached by ADA, who offered to combine resources and realise the core values and mission of Dogs for Kids under its banner. After extensive discussion and consideration, the Dogs for Kids Board believes this exciting opportunity is one that will secure the future of all Dogs for Kids stakeholders; its staff, its community, its sponsors, its clients, its volunteersand its dogs. 12.01.2022 A big thank you to our favourite butcher shop Sienna's Meat & Poultry and the shopping community at Greensborough Shopping Centre for their kind support of Lachy's Assistance Dog Fundraiser. $184 donated from the collection box located on the counter at Sienna's Meat & Poultry. Every cent pushes us closer to our $25,000 target. We've reached $16,359 to date and we thank everyone for their continued support.
