02.01.2022 We want to hear from you if you have thought about your identity in relation to autism. We use the term autism loosely, and other terms people use include Autistic, spectrum, Asperger’s, Aspie, ASC, ASD, and neurodivergent. You may have given this topic a lot of thought, or only a little. You may identify as Autistic, as neurotypical or non-autistic, or in any number of different ways. You may be confident of your identity or be very unsure. You may have talked to many people... about autism, including getting a professional assessment, or you may never have spoken about this to anyone. We are interested in hearing from you if you fit these descriptions or anything in between. Your experience is relevant if your response to a question like Are you on the autism spectrum? is anything other than I’ve never thought about that. We are focusing on Australian adults, so you need to be 18+ and normally reside in Australia to participate. You can share your experience and thoughts with us in a way that suits you. For those who prefer to communicate in writing, you can use Facebook Messenger or email. For those who prefer to communicate verbally, you can use phone or Skype.
