Soooo, this am has been an absolute "comedy of errors"...it started out with me pulling the cassette out of the caravan before checking that there was nothing in the loo .. and SPLOOSH..yip Pauli had made a wee and I forgot to flush..so out comes cassette with a gush of wee ..not a biggy..it was time to clean inside the cassette holding area. Off to the dump point with my new "Dunny point Equipment Bag"..thinking I'm such a smart arse!! Just look at me and how organised I am... So decided to take some photos of my smartness... And then pick up the cassette forgetting that the screw on lid was lying on top of it..and OMG it falls off and rolls down INTO THE DUMP POINT PIPE.....hmmmm, what to do. Should I leave it , will I be able to buy another one ? My arm looks like it will reach it ..soo harden up I go..so on my knees with my arm up to my armpit in the dunny pipe.. Oh what a site I must have made...retrieved the top phew...disinfected myself..out came wipes, sanitiser, Glen 20...oh my lordy..all the while Pauli wailing in the car to go... Bunch of nutters we are. Oh the adventure a of our Autism Van Life

14.01.2022 STOLEN...My caravan guy just rung to tell me that my toolbox was broken into, and all my gear I had stored in it.. GONE . POWER CABLES, TOOLS AND ALL THOSE THINGS YOU ACCUMULATE over the years that you use..just gone. Couple hundred $ worth..just gone! Plus my mates trailer and his tools...!
14.01.2022 This Corona is messing with our House Sitting... It's my turn...It was my daughter's turn not so long ago...Easy Peasy lemon squeezy, coffee first , yes social distanced etc, PPE in place the lovely Elsa #YourBiltongBuddy sorted me out...and then Covid Test...quick and easy,no waiting, no queues, and didn't have to have someone to watch Pauli. For a negative result.
13.01.2022 Ok, so I've been bringing Pauli here for the last 3 weeks and only TODAY, yes folks TODAY, week 3 of our farmsit, have I noticed the yellow sign. It's bright, it's noticeable, I've parked right next to it, but never read it..till TODAY ....WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME, there my boy is, sitting at the end of the jetty, in absolute blissful ignorance of the fact that he is in fact..croc bait...!
12.01.2022 Our day was great after our dunny drama. We went to Rainbow Beach and Inskip point. Beautiful day but the wind was blowing which made it chilly. Pauli loved sitting on the jetty, then had fish and chips for lunch.
10.01.2022 TECHNOLOGY ON THE ROAD Keeping him happy along the way. Telstra Nighthawk Netgear for wi-fi, Cel-Fi go for signal booster for the boy and coffee , lots of it for the momma. For those of you who have our wonderful kids who need to be connected, you will understand the necessity of always having a signal, most of the time when travelling anyway , and keeping everything charged .... So far our data has lasted and hasn't run out costs me $70 a month. So happy with that. The signal booster is a must. We have had places where it drops out, but so far so good. It is a "perched lake" freshwater/Rainwater onl...y and it is just Beautiful. So glad we finally got to go there. The water was freezing but too gorgeous to not get in.
