15.01.2022 Today Rosa (in her dual roles of our CEO, and Australia's representative to the World Disability and Rehabilitation Professionals Association) submitted three "multilingual" videos for the WDRPA's New Year's message project. Our three girls did us proud today. Here is Melissa's message ...... "Hello, my name is Melissa, I’m a 29 year old Australian woman. I was born fully deaf in the left ear, half deaf in the right ear. I have mild intellectual disabilities, and I’m on the spectrum. I am a strong and independent woman that has faced many challenges, when placed in foster care at age 2. With the help of my support workers, and my self-determination I started a Certificate 3 in Individual Support in Disability course. Many times I have thought about giving up, but my support workers have brought me back to face the tough times, and work through them towards achieving my goals. I am now going to be working with my support workers, as I know the challenges and what it is like to live every day with a disability that society make us believe or puts us in our box but I am not in that box, as I can overcome these challenges and be a part of society as one. I am passionate I am strong I am determined I am Melissa"

12.01.2022 Well done Rosa on your insightful delivery to the 5th World Disability Rehabilitation conference 2020. You represented ACC, our region, our country with great aplomb. We are proud of you.

06.01.2022 Congratulations to Amanda and Therese on being the inaugural winners of ACC's "Luke Awards". The awards are in recognition of ACC staff who go "above and beyond" from time-to-time to the betterment of ACC and our clients. They are named in memoriam after our dear friend Luke Staunton, and we thank Allanah for giving us her blessing to perpetuate his name alongside a staff recognition scheme.... Well done ladies, and thank you.
