25.01.2022 So ... I had a telephone consultation with my doctor about Kai's tics ..he's agrees it's tourettes and gave me catapres , one dose last night and he hasn't tic'd all morning !!! He's complaining he cant open his eyes properly but that's his tic so he is finding it a little weird xx
20.01.2022 Having a child with severe ADHD holds some huge reality checks ... It's 2.46am and Carlo went to sleep at 6.30pm with catapres , didn't sleep in the day , ate his dinner etc . I brought lollipops today , he remembered and woke at 1am having a meltdown cause he wanted one , once he's awake it's hours before he will sleep again , his obsession with certain foods is beyond a joke ..no more lollipops . I even had a lock on the fridge and cupboards , he just breaks them , luckily now my husband is back he is calming him down , these are the situations you won't hear about , still waiting to see a genetic doctor about his disorders :(
