02.01.2022 When COVID-19 forced Australians into lockdown, Aspect reacted quickly by stopping face-to-face #autism #assessments and switching to assessments delivered using #telehealth. This had never been done before in Australia, so it was important to investigate how the experience of using tele-assessments compares to face-to-face assessments. A new, Australian-first study by the Aspect Research Centre for Autism Practice - ARCAP found that using telehealth is a practical and accept...able way to conduct autism assessments. The findings showed almost all participants would be willing to undergo tele-assessment in the future and would recommend tele-assessments to others. The study also makes a number of important considerations about screening and preparing participants for tele-assessments. The research report is now available for download: https://www.autismspectrum.org.au//An-evaluation-of-tele-a
