We recently provided training to the staff at the City of Joondalup Libraries to support in the implementation of their upcoming sensory hours at Woodvale Library. Dedicated space within the Woodvale Library will be designed to host residents and carers who may benefit from this specific environment.... We were so excited to see the Autism in Cricket team acknowledged during the Bat Flip for the Perth Scorchers vs Melbourne Renegades game on Saturday. The Autism in Cricket Team has been acknowledged for the advocacy and passion in educating clubs and volunteers to be more inclusive of Autism, as well as advocating the benefits of playing cricket to people with Autism and their families.... 19.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who came down to the Autism in Cricket Come and Try day last Friday! It was a fun filled afternoon and the kids had the opportunity to learn about the sport from the WACA - Western Australian Cricket Association players and representatives as well as practice their batting and bowling skills. A big thank you to the South West Metropolitan Junior Cricket Council for hosting the event with a barbeque and great music. Take a look below at some of the snaps we captured from the day!

16.01.2022 This weekend the Golden Grove Citrus Orchard is hosting the Ocean 2 Orchard charity bike ride! Come along and cheer on all participants as they cross the finish line at the Golden Grove Orchard where there will be fruit picking and family filled activities. The riders are setting off from Burns Beach on the 20th of September on a scenic 50km cycle to the finish point at Golden Grove Orchard to raise funds for the Association! Some of the Autism Association team will be taking on the ride and we will also be there at the finish line to provide support with some sensory activities. We wish all participants the best of luck for the big day!

12.01.2022 The Ocean2Orchard bike ride was a huge success on Sunday! Congratulations to everyone who participated and conquered the inaugural 50km distance! You battled wind, rain, hills, and punctures, but managed to finish the ride from Burns Beach to Chittering. It was fantastic to be able to be there to see everyone cross the finish line, including a few team members from our First Steps program! Once again, a big thank you to Adam for organising this event to raise funds for the Association.
