08.01.2022 Getting quotes to have items inside your vehicle can be very confusing if youre not sure what is included. It is best not to assume having belongings in your car is fine without making sure. Most carriers require your car to be completely empty. This means you are not even allowed to have something as small as a pair of sunglasses sitting in the glovebox. Unless otherwise specified, the only thing you are allowed inside your vehicle is ONE spare tyre, jack and service and lo...g book. Anything else as little as a pair of sun glasses, phone charger, even a pen, MUST be removed. If you have a childrens car seat fitted inside your vehicle, this is not classed as items. As long as you have it completely fixed and not loose, you will not need to select that you have items inside your car. Booster seats however, will be classed as personal belongings, so when asked if you have items you will need to advise yes. Carriers give out a very strict weight limit of 80kgs for having personal belongings inside your car. This weight limit is spread over all vehicle being loaded onto the truck as our trucks may need to pass over weight bridges Keep in mind that your car will not be the only one on the truck being transported so it needs to be fair. You cannot overload your car as if you are moving house, we are not a removalist company. Our carriers need all round visibility whilst they load your car onto the truck so your items can not go above the window level, you cannot put any items in the front seat, and nothing behind the drivers seat on the floor. This leaves you with filling your boot and the back seat only. It can get confusing when you are asked if you have personal belongings inside your car when really you just have a few spare parts that actually belong to the car itself. Unfortunately just because it belongs to the car, it still is not attached so this will be classed as having items. If you are quoted with a carrier that are strict on having no items, but you have spare parts inside, the carrier will refuse the collection and may charge a futile fee for coming out to attempt collection. To avoid these issues make sure you advise what is inside your car. Transporting items in a Ute is usually not permitted by our carriers, however if advised we may be able to find a carrier who can do this for you. Even if your Ute has a canopy, our carriers still class this as a tray, meaning they will not allow them. Trailers must travel completely empty. Having items inside your trailer may get extremely expensive. If transporting a caravan, please make sure you let us know if items will be inside as not all of our carriers will move them with items. Items will always be at your own risk. Our carriers will not be liable for anything that gets damaged or goes missing. You may want to talk to your own insurance company about insuring your items. 06.01.2022 Transit times, oh how we wish we could control these! Unfortunately transit times are one thing that is uncontrollable! We can only do our best at estimating this for you, but one thing we cannot help are delays. All estimated transit times we give out are not promised or guaranteed. We strongly suggest that you do not plan holidays / meetings etc around these times as they are estimates only and we cannot help any delays. Keep in mind that transit times do not start from th...e time you have booked your vehicle in, this will start from the time your vehicle has been collected / the time you have dropped your vehicle off at our depots. Your vehicle may sit in the depot up to a couple of days before it is scheduled onto a truck, however this is inclusive of your transit time. It also will not be a direct run, meaning it will stop off at a couple of depots in between before moving on to its final destination. Peak periods (Christmas, New Year, Major Holidays / Large Events etc) As much as we would love to get your vehicle delivered by Christmas or the New Year, however this is when we generally have our major delays in all states. Door collections and door deliveries can be delayed if we do not have available trucks around your area or there may be a lot of freight volume coming in and out of a state. Weather Keep in mind that major weather disasters will delay vehicle transport - Floods, fires etc. You may feel that your area is safe to collect a vehicle from or deliver out to, however our drivers need to take serious precautions as in the end it is their lives at risk. Backlog This can happen at any time due to high freight volumes. Vehicles will leave in the order they arrive at the depot so your car may sit there for a couple of days before being scheduled General Delays Broken down trucks, black log, - This may not happen a lot but when it does it can be quite frustrating for all parties. Again this cannot be helped and we will organise a new truck If your vehicle arrives in to our depots after hours / weekends, we will not deliver it out until the following week. They will not schedule it onto a truck until they have a next available. Please remember, when we give you a transit time, do not quote us on this as we will never promise you this time frame. However we will try our best to get it to you as quick as possible. See more

05.01.2022 Everyone seems to be asking where the year has gone...and we are wondering the same thing here in Auto Logistics HQ! We would like to let our customers know that delivery before Christmas (if you haven't already booked) is very difficult except for local city transport. It's worth dropping our team an email to request dates for transport, but please be aware that most of our trucks are full. While you may not be able to receive your car before Christmas, the good news is th...at many trucks are up and running again on 4 January 2016 (depending on locations). January is another busy period in the transport industry particularly as people move or settle into new jobs/homes, before the start of a new work/school year. We recommend you book in before Christmas where you can in order to secure your transport spots in 2016. Feel free to call our office or drop our team an email at [email protected] for next available dates.

04.01.2022 For everyone who got that extra holiday and return back today! :)
03.01.2022 "STANDARD DIMENSIONS" When it comes to dimensions of your vehicle, the term standard does not always refer to factory standard. Some carriers have their own standard dimension requirements for quoting to allow a spot on the tuck. Factory standards may be slightly over a carriers requirement. This does not mean we are unable to quote you, however, we will need to custom quote your vehicle once you have provided the correct measurements. If your vehicle has any extras fitted..., such as roof racks, tow bar, snorkels, antennas etc. this is something you will need to advise in your dimensions. SEDANS This term is for any vehicle that is under 1.6m in height and under 5m in length. Such as Holden Commodore (Car and Ute), Toyota Camry, etc. Keep in mind, if your vehicle has roof racks, tow bar or even just purchased over these dimensions, please be sure to advise the correct measurements and do not select the option that it is under these standard dimensions 4WD This term can be quite confusing as not all large vehicles are called 4WDs. This term is for any vehicle that is over 1.6m in height. This can anything as small as a Rav4, Suzuki Jimny, and Holden Captiva, 2WD type etc. VAN Most vans can have different dimensions to another. To make it easier on our carriers to provide a quote, they do require the full dimensions. Our carriers only allow a certain amount of vehicles on their trucks, and your van may take up a small amount of another car space. Modified / Other Vehicles You may have turned your Toyota Hilux in to a campervan, or you may have just added a fridge in the back of your Mitsubishi Triton. This automatically changes the category that your vehicle would usually fall in to. Caravans We do need the overall dimensions of caravans from furthest point to furthest point. Trailers All trailers must be completely empty for transport. Again we do need the overall dimensions before being able to provide a quote as this is what our carriers quotes are based on. This means the full length from furthest point to furthest point, not the internal sizing of the trailer. See more
