We would like to assure all our customers that we are doing all we can to protect customers and ourselves in this unprecedented situation. Although we have always maintained good hygiene procedures, we have increased our sanitising and hygiene practices to all relevant surfaces prior to hand over of your vehicle. We are also observing social distancing. ... Although we have recently preferred not to take cash, we have been notified by the authorities that exchanging cash poses a very little threat. However, we do sanitise the cash notes before leaving your premises. 11.01.2022 Last week we had to repair one of our trade customers gear shift bush. As like a lot of things these days, most parts are designed to fail when they are made of plastic, however we replace gear shift bushes with a stainless steel kit to make sure it lasts longer than plastic. 11.01.2022 We have a customer that has an AUDI A5 which unfortunately broke the timing chain for the engine. This job may look daunting but once the front bumper cover comes off, and you unbolt the radiator support panel, it looks like picture No. 1. With all the front taken off, the engine is quite accessible. So we removed the broken engine and fitted a second hand unit. After fitting all the components back together, the vehicle was ready to be back on the road (picture No. 3)... #audia5 #brokentimingchain #engineremoval #autocare2u

09.01.2022 This is a prime example of car designers not user friendly to mechanics. A BMW 5 series needed a starter motor. However, it was under the intake manifold which needed to be removed to access the starter motor. This is why (sometimes) a little bit extra labour cost is involved on just a simple repair.

06.01.2022 ** Attention ** Due to the Department of Transport roadworthy portal being down since Friday (and still down), they have informed that they dont know when it will be up and running again. Because of this, Danny has just purchased more manual paper RWCs.... If you require a RWC, just be aware for now that you will receive a handwritten certificate. Sorry for any inconvenience and understanding, but it is beyond our control. Thanks Autocare 2 U

03.01.2022 We have a commercial fleet customer that has 3 iLoads and wanted us to fit a catch can as a trial to one of the iLoads. These engines are renowned for having turbo chargers fail. So after fitting the first catch can after the first service (which was 10,000km ago), we were surprised as to how much oil the catch can caught in that short amount of period. 01.01.2022 This week we installed air bags to one of our customers new Ford Ranger. As he is a landscaper (Livable Landscapes) he requires to tow heavy loads within the capacity of the vehicles limits. We needed to install the air bags to help with the load on the suspension.
