25.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Like you and other small businesses, we too are quite nervous about times to come. We want to assure our customers that whilst we may be just mechanics we take hygiene very seriously. We all go home to our families each night, some of whom are immune suppressed. ... Please be assured that the utmost hygiene will be practiced within our business. Hand sanitiser is readily available, workplace cleaning has been escalated and we are all conscious of self isolating if the need arises. We kindly ask, from our customers, that if you or one of your family members are sick that you postpone your repairs. Otherwise we are business as normal. Simply give us a call and we can discuss arrangements. ... We will no longer be in direct contact with your car key (where possible). When handing over your vehicle you will be asked to place your key in a snap lock bag. That snap lock bag will not be reopened until it is given back to you. Gloves will be worn by all staff when working inside your vehicle and changed from vehicle to vehicle. Gloves will also be worn when liaising with you. Payment for repairs are now required to be made over the phone or via contactless means. All of our staff deserve a safe haven from any sickness, let alone the Coronavirus, whilst at work. There is a 6 month old in the office 90% of the time. One of our mechanics returns home to his pregnant partner each night. All of our staff have families. ...
