But can I tell you that it is much better to get one optimized blog up than to put up 5 that you haven't optimized. Many small businesses forget that to get someone to their website, they need the text that shows in the search engine to be appealing to the searcher ... or else you don’t get the clicks. 06.01.2022 From small things ... big things grow ... I believe thoroughly in the 80/20 rule. You see it come into play where 80% of your business income might come from your top 20% of customers. ... Or 80% of your headaches come from the 20% most painful clients. And I like to think that some of my seemingly small tips, can make a big difference in a business owner's life. It also comes into play with your marketing. Just by making some small changes to your marketing sign up forms you can make an impact on the number of people signing up. 04.01.2022 Let me tell you a story ... well actually I want to tell you about a new feature in LinkedIn. LinkedIn Stories have been out for a little while but, while it has been missing some of the similar features in Instagram, it was hard to work out the value for a business. But maybe that has changed as they have now included ... the ability to add a link to the story. See more and who gets it in the video.... Remember stories are only available on your phone and tablet apps (that circle up the top on your Home page) and they only last for 24hrs. . I suspect LinkedIn reward those that use the stories, in the algorithm. Now don't panic if you haven't got it on your page (and you meet the conditions), it is still rolling out ... and I'm waiting and watching for it too.

02.01.2022 So Facebook has taken news sites off your newsfeeds in Australia today. To some it may not make any difference, and some might think that it is probably a good thing to be clear that we all know that it isn’t the best place to get your news (as long as people realise fake news will still appear). There has been some hiccups - Qld Health and BOM were both taken off too but have been reinstated. My takeaways from this: Always have your followers on email lists, get your news from reputable news services and go double check your site is up.

01.01.2022 Woho! A new feature that we can utilise for our businesses! Instagram have released Instagram Guides, a new feature on your profile. They are simply a curated list of posts that you can order and name. ... . They can be your posts or other people's posts. In the video I've highlighted ideas on how you could utilise them in your business. I think they are a great way to get fresh eyes on some of your older posts. Have you used them yet?
