22.01.2022 You know just looking at this car it has a story. Dennis has owned this Falcon GT 351 for 32 years. Whilst most of his mates had to sell theirs over the years, he managed to hold onto his. Now hes ready to take it to the next level. Weve installed a tougher transmission and a B & M shifter so that it can handle the track work Dennis plans to try out on his adventure around Australia. We were stoked to be able to work on this. Thanks Dennis

22.01.2022 Not bad for a young fella, just got his licence.... no racing experience... with a repaired standard box and hi-stall.... He went 181 kph in 12.67 seconds!!!! Awesome!

At Automac Transmissions, we highly recommend an additional cooler to factory, in any vehicle that is towing a heavy load, caravan etc, which will run in conjunction with your original cooler. This will greatly assist in keeping your vehicle to a low operating temperature to assist with the longevity of your transmission. Call and have a chat with Stewart to discuss what we do.

09.01.2022 Torque Converters, all custom made in house. Custom Heavy Duty Billet Torque Converters: Over the years, there have been many transmissions that failed when it came to a strong and reliable torque converter. Some were not large enough to suit the engine power, others didnt have a thick enough backing plate for the lockup clutch. Then we have the conversion scenario.... I want to bolt this auto, to that engine, in a different chassis! So we have set up our Billet Torque Converter Program to answer all of these scenarios and this has allowed us to develop numerous torque converter designs to suit the multitude of flex-plate and automatic transmission combinations. Some of these torque converters are done on a Change Over basis and have a refundable deposit attached, while others are strictly Outright only. 04.01.2022 Service,service,service...... transmission maintenance and servicing is important for the longevity of your transmission, is something that is often overlooked and can lead to an expensive repair if not maintained. The transmission in your car is what transfers the power from the engine to the wheels. Of course with the advanced complex computer systems and hundreds of other components used in automatic transmissions in cars these days, ensuring your transmission is checked regularly guards against major breakdowns. We recommend you service your transmission every 20,000km, or 12 months, whichever sooner - however check your service book for specific requirement as some transmissions have other set limits.
